If you took AP classes in high school and scored a 3 or higher on your AP exams, you may be eligible for college credit - up to 30 credits total. Just send your official AP score report to Enrollment Services or email it to transcripts@atlanticcape.edu. You can view the full list of accepted exams and how they count toward your Atlantic Cape degree. 

If you attended a high school or college outside the U.S., your transcripts must be translated into English and evaluated by a credentialing agency that’s part of the . You’ll need to choose an approved agency, have your credentials evaluated, and ask them to send the official report to Enrollment Services or transcripts@atlanticcape.edu.

If you’ve served in the military, you may be eligible for college credit for training you completed during service. We use recommendations from the American Council on Education (ACE) to evaluate your .

Request your JST online and send it directly to Enrollment Services or email it to transcripts@atlanticcape.edu. You may also want to explore our Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) option for additional credit based on your experience.

If you graduated from a New Jersey Police Academy, you may be eligible for up to 18 credits toward a degree in Criminal Justice. Graduates of a NJ Corrections Academy may qualify for up to 10 credits.

To apply, enroll in the Criminal Justice A.S. program and send a copy of your academy certificate to Enrollment Services or email transcripts@atlanticcape.edu.

If you’ve gained college-level knowledge through work, military service, certifications, or on-the-job training, our Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) can help you turn that experience into college credit—up to 25 credits.

Our Technical Studies A.A.S. degree is designed especially for adults with hands-on experience who want to finish faster. To find out if you qualify and how to apply, contact the Admissions Office at (609) 343-5000 or admissions@atlanticcape.edu.

Transfer credit evaluations are based on previously reviewed and approved curriculum as determined by the appropriate academic division. In certain cases, additional documentation—such as course syllabi and consultations with the relevant academic dean—may be necessary to assess course equivalency. 

It is the student’s responsibility to provide any supplemental information or documentation upon request. Please note that the submission of syllabi or other materials does not guarantee the acceptance of transfer credit.

麻豆区ing is free and it’s the first step toward your future. Choose the “Default Undegraduate Application” when you are in our application portal. You can fill out the application at home, on your phone, or at a kiosk on campus. Just visit atlanticcape.edu/apply to get started.

If you want your credits from another college transferred, you will need to request your transcripts from your college be sent to Enrollment Services for evaluation.

Once you apply, you’ll get a go-to person to walk you through the rest. They’ll help with everything from placement testing to choosing classes. 

Be sure that we have your official college transcript so we can transfer your credits appropriately. You also will want to bring your SAT, ACT or high school transcript as well, otherwise we may ask you to take a placement test. 

No stress. It’s not pass or fail. It just helps us place you in the right course.

College costs less than you think, especially with financial aid. 

Filling out the FAFSA is free and it’s the key to grants, state aid, and even tuition-free college. 

Start your  and use Atlantic Cape’s school code: 002596. If you are a resident of NJ, you will receive an email instructing you to fill out the NJ State Financial Aid application once the FAFSA application is processed. Be sure to fill it out too as you can save even more through state aid!

Not a U.S. citizen? No problem - you may still qualify for financial aid through New Jersey. Just complete the  instead of the FAFSA.

You can register online through your Atlantic Cape Connect portal via the Self Service card or meet with your Specialist in person. We’ll make sure you stay on track with your goals and have a schedule that works for your life.

Register for Classes

To reserve your spot in class, you’ll need to make a payment, apply for aid, or set up a payment plan. If you apply for financial aid, payment is not due until your award is processed.

You can take care of it all through Atlantic Cape Connect or at the Bursar’s Office. Check out our Costs and Payments page for more information.

We accept all major cards, E-Check, and cash. Payment plans are available for fall and spring semesters.
