Head Coach

Shane Ritchie

Biography:
Shane Ritchie is entering his third season as 麻豆区 Buccaneers Women's Cross Country Head Coach in 2026-27.

Ritchie is the Campus Operations Manager & Resource Development at 麻豆区's Cape May County campus. He is also a clinical instructor, adjunct professor and advisor. He has experience as a recreational 1/2 marathon runner, triathlon participant, Tough Mudder USA participant and Ragnar Run participant. Ritchie is also an NJEMT/NHA CCMA - CET - CPT/AHA BLS Healthcare Providers Instructor.

Ritchie graduated from Canisius University in 2008 with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science/Pre-Law & International Economics/Foreign Trade Policy. He is currently pursuing his Master's Degree in Public Health. Ritchie graduated from St. Augustine Prep in 2004 where he played hockey and lacrosse.

Assistant Coach

Alexandra Ramirez

Biography:
Alexandra Ramirez is entering her first season as an assistant coach with the 麻豆区 women's cross country program. 

Ramirez was the Buccaneers lone student–athlete runner last year and she finished 24^th out of 80 Division III runners at the 2025 NJCAA Women’s Cross-Country Championships in Iowa. She also placed fourth place at the NJCAA Region 19 Championships.

Ramirez earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from Rutgers University – New Brunswick in 2024.
